澳洲野火已完全失控，不只居民緊急撤離，連動物也上演大逃亡，有網友拍到數百隻袋鼠成群逃離惡火的畫面，令人心碎。

煉獄般的失控惡火肆虐澳洲新南威爾斯省（NSW）及維多利亞省（Victoria），野火將當地天空染成血紅色，當局指出，烈火延燒地區的溫度可高達攝氏上百度，不用燒上身就可能致人於死地，災區上萬居民與遊客已緊急撤離。

不只人類急撤，動物也上演大逃亡，英國《每日郵報》（Daily Mail）報導，澳洲科學家里昂（Mitchell Lyons）30日早晨7時左右在新南威爾斯省捕捉到令人心碎的畫面，數百隻大大小小的袋鼠集體往山丘上快速移動，里昂將約30秒的影片放上個人推特，還留言指出，「袋鼠或許不知道怎麼樣避開車輛，但牠們絕對知道如何逃離惡火。」

澳洲野火已導致數百萬動物喪命，當中也包括澳洲國寶無尾熊，報導指出，光是在東岸，至今已有約8,000隻無尾熊死於惡火，澳洲環境部長蕾伊（Sussan Ley）先前表示，新南斯威爾省中北岸地區原棲息著約28,000隻無尾熊，不過延續數月的野火已燒毀當地約30%物種。
