美西野火煙霧飆速大擴散紐約、荷蘭天空現異象

肆虐美國西岸的森林野火不只影響當地，燃燒出的濃煙也已經擴散全美，甚至飄過大西洋抵達歐洲，包括紐約、華府等多個美東大城，甚至是荷蘭等，天空都呈現灰濛濛的混濁異象。

美國媒體「財經內幕」（Business Insider）報導，15日美國中西部、東岸居民一早醒來時，可能都對帶著淺粉的朦朧天色感到印象深刻，這是美國西岸森林野火燃燒出的濃煙壟罩所致。

超過100處森林大火持續肆虐加州、俄勒岡州、華盛頓州，超過450萬英畝土地被燒毀。

先前傳出濃煙北上飄向加拿大溫哥華，導致當地一度成為全球空氣汙染最嚴重的主要城市，溫哥華天際線罕見看不見。

不過現在濃煙已經加快速度擴散全美，部分煙霧順著「高速氣流帶」（jet stream）、以每小時110英里的速度向東岸挺進。美東大城紐約、華府、緬因州波特蘭市都有居民反映天空變色，有居民在網路上貼出紐約帝國大廈後方一片帶著淡淡粉色的灰霧天空照片，當夕陽落下時，紐約天空的粉紅色變得更加明顯。天氣預報網站「New York Metro Weather」也貼出一條長長黑煙從中部蔓延東岸的衛星畫面。

濃煙不只壟罩美國大陸，更飄過大西洋抵達荷蘭，荷蘭氣象學家范歐登堡（Geert Jan van Oldenborgh）貼出11日一處湖泊Reeuwijk Lakes的天空畫面，霧霾把原本湛藍的天空染成灰色，美國《洛杉磯時報》（Los Angeles Times）更報導煙霧已經擴散至德國北部大城漢堡。

除了濃煙擴散，一氧化碳也已瀰漫全美，根據美國國家航空暨太空總署（NASA）的分析，顯示北美大氣層的一氧化碳濃度已經比平常高出10倍，儘管一氧化碳尚未侵入較低層人類呼吸的空氣，不過專家也警告，如果颳起強風，最終可能會造成相當嚴重的空氣汙染。
